Revol: Excellence in Culinary Porcelain Since 1768
Founded in 1768 by brothers Joseph–Marie and François Revol in the Drôme region, in the heart of the Rhône Valley, Revol Porcelaine is one of the oldest and most respected porcelain manufacturers in Europe. The discovery of a white kaolin deposit in the Ponsas area led to the production of fine stoneware and later the creation of culinary porcelain, an innovative material that revolutionized the art of the table.
Now in its ninth generation, Revol is currently led by Olivier Passot. The company employs around 185 people and produces 4 million units annually, exported to over 80 countries. The combination of artisanal tradition and technological innovation has enabled Revol to maintain high standards of quality and design, meeting the needs of both professional chefs and cooking enthusiasts.
In addition to quality, Revol places particular emphasis on environmental sustainability and the aesthetics of its products. The black cast iron finish is one of the distinctive features that has contributed to the brand’s international recognition, reflecting the high technical and aesthetic standards achieved by the company.
In addition to its headquarters in France, Revol has a subsidiary in the United States, Revol USA, which distributes products for the hospitality and restaurant sectors. The company collaborates with numerous Michelin-starred chefs and culinary institutions, solidifying its reputation as a leader in the culinary porcelain industry.
With a history spanning over 250 years, Revol continues to innovate in the field of porcelain, maintaining the core values of excellence, sustainability, and design that have made it a benchmark in the world of table art.
